Convention on lightweight construction as a key topic for the field of future mobility
For the first time, the Carbon Composites e.V. (CCeV) and the Association of German Engineers (VDI) joined forces to organise the lightweight construction convention for the automatic industry which took place in Leipzig 13th and 14th June 2017. They bundled their previous formats, CCeV-Automotive Forum and VDI Lightweight Construction Convention, to make use of synergies.

Nevertheless in a bottom-up process for strategic orientation topics occured, that would sensibly be solved within international collaborations.

Symposium Composites mit Ergebniskonferenz zum Laufzeitende von MAI Carbon
Die MAI Carbon Ergebniskonferenz fand am 19. und 20. Juli 2017 im Rahmen des Symposiums des Carbon Composites e.V. an der Messe Augsburg statt. Inhaltlich ist die Veranstaltung geprägt von der Ergebnis-präsentation aller 36 Verbundprojekte, die während der fünfjährigen Laufzeit des Spitzenclusters
durchgeführt wurden. Die gesetzten Ziele wurden teilweise sogar übertroffen.
The Leading-Edge Cluster funding for MAI Carbon ends after five years with considerable goals achieved
The MAI Carbon results conference was taking place 2017, July 19th and 20th within the framework of the Carbon Composites e.V. at Messe Augsburg. The programme of events is characterised by the results presentation of all 36 projects that have been executed during the five-year lifetime of the Leading-Edge
Cluster. Some of the set aims have even been exceeded.
