Vision:

CFRP is a sustainable, recyclable, non-hazardous material that complies with relevant EU and federal/state regulations.

Goals:
  • high reuse value
  • ecologically acceptable processes lead to ecologically acceptable products
  • the engagement of the CU solidarity community with this topic generates an added value that cannot be achieved by the individual member

 

Current Focus:

CFRP recycling with supercritical water.
Value-added applications for rCF and rCF semi-finished products (yarns, nonwovens, oriented semi-finished products) – see WG rCF Applications

  • Recycling of thermoplastic composites
  • Recycling of CFRP waste that is no longer economically recyclable
